My Story
Love of furniture is in my genes. My grandfather ran a woodworking shop for decades, recreating intricate historical styles of furniture. My grandmother was an upholsterer and seamstress. She introduced me to her antique Singer sewing machine when I was a toddler, then taught me to sew on it at age 10. It was no great surprise, then, that I found myself drawn to create furniture as a career.
After introductory classes and some exploration on my own, I trained at a high-end, custom upholstery shop in San Francisco, CA. Because of their rigorous standards for quality, I learned the tips and tricks involved in making the very best in custom furniture. You can be assured that your project will get the full weight of my experience and eye for detail. My specialty is working with heirloom furniture- that beloved piece in your life that needs restoration or an updated look.
